Frost death knights wield two one-handed swords and can be on top of the charts on single target DPS on some fights. In high mobility fights it can prove to be a challenge to maintain that DPS. Two hand is not viable on this expansion.

Two points in [Subversion] can be changed to [Blood-caked Blade], however the DPS gain is at max 3%, if lucky, and usually between 1.5-0.5%. [Subversion] provides 6% more crit for obliterate and reduces the total threat generation, which allows to DPS earlier and for longer specially with lower geared tanks. The DPS loss for over threat, dying from it or having to stop DPS for a few seconds is way higher than a 0.5%-3% DPS increase.
