Wotlk Classic Leveling Guide 68-72
When starting in Nothrend at level 68 the best option is to go to Borean Thundra and start questing there. There is more gear availble in Borean Thundra, plus the chain quest will give a blue weapon. For the horde the chain requires the completion of “The Plains of Nasam”, “Foolish Endeavors” and lastly “Trophies of Gammoth” this will lead to “Hellscream’s Champion”. After reaching level 70 and completing the quests in Amber Ledge leading to Coldarra for the Kirin Tor reputation, the player can switch to Howling Fjord. Questing in Howling Fjord will allow unlocking the quest “A Score to Settle”. After that the best way to continue leveling is to dungeon farm. Nexus and Utgarde Keep until 72, the quests will help reduce the grind and provide some gear.
Zones to quest if preferred: Borean Thundra and Howling Fjord.
