Combat Rogue relies on keeping slice and dice up, and managing combo points to use finishers to deal damage. Combat can reach the top next to Fury Warriors, and Combat has the highest DPS potential of the three specs.

Sinister Strike to 4-5 combo points > Slice and Dice (First one with 2-3 combos) > Sinister Strike to 4-5 combo point > Eviscerate or keep up Rupture if bellow 900 armor penetration

Tips

Never allow Slice and Dice to drop.

Use [Tricks of the Trade] first on the tank and after that on another DPS to increase their damage.

Get to know the fights to pop cooldowns at the best times (low movement, no crowd control, AOE, etc).

Time cooldowns so they can be used to clean thrash and be ready at boss fights.

Avoid changing targets too much, or spend them before a target change, as combo reset on target change.
